DD submitted her application back in july and received notification of her application date. We've been watching her status page for over a month to see if her test scores/transcript, etc. have arrived, and it keeps saying "to give them a couple of weeks to get everything together." Today it's changed to this:

"Information about your application status is provided online as a convenience. While every effort is made to be timely and accurate, information conveyed by electronic means is unofficial. An official written notification of admission will be mailed to your permanent address. Please do not act on any information until you have received official notification."

Now, that's different, but it still doesn't have anything related to material arriving. Does the status page ever show a list of what they've received? Or do we need to call and confirm with admissions?

My D's status is now showing just like yours. Funny right after she applied in July, there was specific information about what had been received and what had not. The test scores were there and the transcripts were not. We had to keep emailing to see that the transcripts were received. They finally were but the website status has never mentioned it. The only thing we can view is test scores through ISIS.

I would check with Admissions to confirm receipt of everything.

Thanks for the info about ISIS. We did go and check there, and it does list her standardized test scores as arriving. But I did do as you suggested and called admissions since we've never had any indication on her status page that they've received anything. Apparently, they do have transcripts, et.al, so all is well with the world. Now we'll just wait 'til Feb. without worrying that things are missing in transit.

Hate asking, but why bother having a "status page" when there is absolutely nothing that can be accessed from it, other than I guess that you actually exist in their database.

At some point it has to start functioning as a tool. When is that?

What exactly is 'displaying everything correctly?'

Mine went back to saying The Office of Admissions has received your application for 2009 Summer B and is processing it. Please return to the admissions website in two-to-three weeks to check the status of your application., even though I applied mid-July and have even called UF to make sure they've received everything (and they have).

^^^
D's has yet to say anything like that. So, we called a couple of weeks back, and they assured us that they had everything. So, who knows what's up. Hers still says the same thing Hockey07 says, and she, too, applied back in July. But we've received email confirmation and telephone confirmation that they've received all her stuff.

It's very simple. The status page shows a list of everything received and not received. Once everything is received and it moves on to the next step, the list goes away and they give you some message about it being processed or "wait for official notice" bla bla bla. When I applied to grad school, my GMAT score was missing and 2 out of 3 letters of rec showed as unreceived for 5 months. Then one day I was admitted.

My GF's transfer app is the same way. It showed a list of everything being received except her transcripts, once those were sent, we got some default message like you all are getting.

Does anyone know what this means? This was on my D's status page, along with listing they'd received her ACT scores and her SAT II subject test scores. No mention of the actual SAT I, so I'm going to assume that the enhanced ACT they refer to is a converted SAT score, which would be higher than her SAT I score. But I don't have a clue what the follow means:
