My s's finally update yesterday and shows his information. Did anyone else just have that happen. It now shows more detail.

Does that mean that they have just made a decision or that they have just logged it in or ...?

My D got accepted to CALS, and her page hasn't changed at all (without the detail).

Please elaborate... what kind of detail does it show?

how are people getting acceptances already?

beefs, some colleges (CALS, ILR, AEM..) within cornell are rolling

weird, i actually applied ed then switched to rd, cals and engineering. i would expect to be one of the first ones out if its rolling since mines been there for like 4 months already.

It's rolling in March (at least, this year). There was one round (is probably still being delivered), and there will be another at the end of the month from what I gather from all the discussions on this board.

its rolling notification and not based on date of application -Hotel, ILR, and CALS have begun rolling notification of regular decision admitted applicants. These decisions are not available to students on the web this year, but letters were mailed to these students earlier this week. Only a small portion of the Hotel, ILR, and CALS decisions will be released during this notification period. no one else will hear a decision from Cornell before the March 31 Common Ivy Notification Date. It is rare for a refused student to learn of his/her decision during this rolling decision notification period. not receiving a decision during this period does not indicate anything about the competitiveness of your application.

beefs, I don't know at what point you switched from ED to RD, but if they had looked at your application when you notified them, my guess is that they would treat it more like a deferred application. Deferred applications are revisited after the RD applications. It makes more sense that you will catch the next round. That's just my guess. Anyway, good luck with your application.
