Status question

Hey everyone. I just have a question about the status of my application to West Point, and was wondering if anyone else was in the same situation as I am. I have already recieved a Congressional nomentation, as well as a letter saying that I am fully qualified. My regional admissions officer has also contacted me and I was informed that I was one of the top 2000 fully qualified in the US, and that about 1600 would recieve an appointment. I'm not really sure where my application technically is. I haven't recieved an appointment yet, and I haven't been wait listed, so is it in between the two?

Thank you all for your input and help

Sincerely,

David

If you are fully qualified and have a nomination but have not “won” a cadetship through your nomination source (competitive method, principal nomination etc), you will automatically be placed on the waiting list.
If you are between the two, I guess it means that admissions is still identifying the appointment winners from your nomination slates.

Good luck!

Thank you :D

2 weeks ago my son received the National Wait List letter, yesterday he received his appointment in the mail…hang in there!
