I am about to submit my application and it says my transcript was recieved but nothing about my recommendations?......Would that show up as well?

well they recommended your recommendations be sent online...
if you didn't do that they preferred the rec to be with the transcript/school report. etc
depending on which way you did it your answer would vary

Yea i sent it in with the transcript/school report

I had this problem at another school. Get your part of the app in. If the recs don't come or they get lost, your counselor can fax them in (and follow up with paper copies). We had to do this with one of mine. I got into my ED school even though the rec was faxed in about two weeks after the ED deadline. The strict deadline applies only to your part of the app.

Don't panic. If there's a problem, you can fix it after you go back to school.

it won't say if your recs have been received (assuming you had your teacher send them via snail mail)...at least it didn't for me (i did early).

No need to worry. If you sent the recs with the School & Transcript Report, and if the website states that the transcript has been received, so have your recs.

As an aside, for those people who applied early or years past, do UVa tell you 'a decision has been made. Your decision is in the mail (whether email or snail)...' on the website like other unis or are you notified of the decision on the website?

So what is the deadline for recommendations?

January 10th
