<p>Can you give me a quick timeline of what is going to happen over the next year. I am getting the newbie confusion. </p>
<p>-July - ? Indoc-Plebe Candidate---only one phone call out allowed, no packages received. When are they offically a Plebe?
-When can they get their first package and I understand no food at least until after parents weekend then send enough to share, but not too much (I know parents can sent packages before they leave Indoc)?
-When do classes start? Do they need to bring their laptop to Indoc?
-Sept- Parents week- is it now they can use their cell phone but just on weekends and can they email or instant message after Sept. When can I start emailing thoses pictures from home.
-They can have guest visit, go off the yard on weekends (as long as they are not on lock down) but no overnights.
-After first of year- Recognition-Now what is their title. Now they are have more liberty to leave the yard and can use cell phones anytime?</p>

<p>July to date in September: Plebe Candidates until Acceptance Day when they're sworn into the US Navy Reserve. </p>
<p>PS.. its not "The Yard." thats Annapolis... and navy is bleah.</p>
<p>then, they're plebes until Recognition, then they're 4th Classmen. That is why we love recognition... no more plebedom. </p>
