Stay in CPP or Transfer?

Hey folks I’m a CS student in Cal poly Pomona and I quite like the school so far.

I’m planning to enter the workforce immediately after getting my BS degree if I can but;

I keep hearing that CPP falls behind other schools like UCI and SLO so I’m beginning to regret declining UCI (just a tad)

thinking the chances of landing a job after graduating will be slim.

So here’s the question.

Is Cal Poly Pomona’s CS program good enough that I have a chance of becoming hired?

Or should I transfer once money is no longer an issue?

I’m not looking for a ridiculously high leveled job at places such as Google or microsoft, (not yet anyway);

just places where I can put what I learned to use (and improve) without starving to death.

Thank you

This is from a personal perspective, but I believe that getting a job in any given field has less to do with the School the degree was attained from and more with the “Connections” that was made there.
Are you in any clubs at Cal Poly Pomona? What about Internships? I’ve been told Cal poly Pomona/SLO are respected schools so you shouldn’t worry too much about whether this university is recognizable or not.

One of my cousins graduated from SLO with a Computer Science degree and got offered a job starting at 80,000$ and she’s only 21. (Pomona and SLO are both respected schools as I’ve previously stated).
I tend to refer to them both as just one entity.
