If you had the chance to take your freshman year college classes during your senior year of HS, would you? I mean you wouldn't even go to HS until graduation practice or when you had time off. It would be hard to participate in your HS's ECs because you are not there during school at all and you might have to be homeschooled English by your mom.

Hell yeah I would.

Yea, but the first year is basically when you get general courses out of the way and you could do the samething with AP classes. If you have taken most of the APs then yea u should do it.

I would not. At the end of my junior year, I'll be in the same position as you and I don't want to. It's your senior year! You can STILL take advanced classes (well, I can atleast. I don't know about your school) and be involved in that last year of "high school hoo-rahh."

I can take advanced classes at school, but I just don't know whether I can leave all of my ECs, my seniorness, and some great friends that I only have one more year with early. On the other side, I save like $20,000 and a year of my life.

sciencenerd: My school has only 2 APs and even though they are going to let me self-study, it's only going to be one or two. My school will freak out if it is more.

Well going into my Senior year, I would have wanted to, but when everything was said and done, I had some of the best times of my life my senior year, and I wouldn't trade those for (almost) anything.

I would go to college, but only if the college was my first or second choice. Or maybe try community college for a year and then go to a 4 year university.

I got an offer in the mail to do the last two years of HS at the local JC. No thanks. I think the JC classes are less rigorous than the high school AP and honors classes. I could give a care about most of the social life at my high school though, a token white I am in a sea of another color.

Yeah.........

Then again, I live next to a university, not a junior college.

hell no.

its your senior year. youre suppose to have fun

Only leave high school early if the high school has nothing left to offer you.

You can go to college anytime (and you usually have better chances if you wait). You can only go to high school now.

Personally, I wouldn't do it unless I hated highschool. Unless you're miserable in school, just take this year to have some fun before going to college.

no way. my sophomore year, i would've said yes, definitely, but this last year i got very involved in student council, and now i LOVE high school. plus, it's senior year. live it up!!!

yea, i gotta agree with others about staying. you dont know how fun senior year is until your going through it. maybe try taking some courses for college online or at a community college.

is money that big of a factor? if so and you dislike your hs and dont mind missing out with your friends then do it.

I would not. Senior year is a lot of fun, you don't want to miss out on that. If it's an option because you've taken just about all the classes you need to graduate already, then just take some fun electives that you've always considered. You can always take one or two classes at a university, anyway (we had plenty of people who had 4 classes a day instead of 6 so they could go do a class at a nearby university)

Don't do it. Not only would you miss much of your senior year, you probably don't want to shorten your time in college, either (unless the money is the deciding factor).
