Um, no. That's completely unreasonable. If you're staying up until 2 or 3 am with three APs, then there's something seriously wrong with your time management skills.

Wow, I haven't heard that one. Does this have any sort of scientific basis? That might be the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard, that and when I heard that people who do wear sunscreen can sometimes get skin cancer.

club from 2-3 then an hour to get to volunteer(4-7)/job(4-10) (depending on day) and then when it is a volunteer day I have a board meeting from 7:30-9 and get home at about 10 to do my homework. I get roughly 4-5 hours of slepp a night it is hard but I manage (AP stats-online coures I take OUTSIDE of school and APUSH with 4 honors class) My grades arent all As because I have no time but I am trying to fix my sleeping to only needing 5 hours and no more :^(

no, im taking 4, and im in 2 honors

and i dont stay up taht late every day, only when i have a ton of tests within the next like 2 or 3 days and i have 2 write a few essays by the next day

lol, has people here even REALIZED that getting 3 or 4 hours of sleep is BAD and is DETRIMENTAL to your health?

Obviously, but it dosen't stop them from doing it.

I get about 5 hours of sleep only because I am the worst procrastinator in the world. And that does not work with AP classes...now I'm trying to get into the habit of working on them during the weekend.

I get about 5 hours. I feel like it's resonable because I do a lot of clubs and I do sports which take up my time. I'm worried though for my junior year when I'm taking AP's. I'm questioning how many hours I get then. By the way, does anybody here know how AP Statistics is? I'm thinking about taking it next year and I'm uncertain on how challenging it would be and whether it would really require a lot of time. How good will this look to colleges?

Yeah I get around about 4-6..
I'm the biggest procrastinator.. I have to watch all the tv shows and do everything on the internet and talk on my phone, before I can study..

If you're a person that gets less than 7 hours a sleep a night, try a week where you get 8+ hours per night each day. Your quality of life will spike through the roof. You will understand how senseless busywork is not worth staying up for when you can do it in the morning, or in study hall. Honestly if you manage your time well, there is no reason you shouldn't be getting less than eight a night. Managing your time well means not working a job on school nights. It also means not wasting an hour pefecting a 10 minute worksheet. It also means stop harassing people on AIM. Manage your time, get your A's, get your 8 hours, life will be good...
