Staying a week at Penn- HELP!

ok now that i have been accepted i need to know where (apartments or hotels both will do) to book to stay at before moving in and NSO. any advice? this will help me alot so please let me know the best options (and their approx prices and ratings). thanks.

both apartment style suites and hotels are fine. any cost is fine.

thanks

When I visited last spring, I think we stayed in the Hyatt, which is not that far from campus. We’re planning to stay there again when we go to Penn Preview in April. I think that there is also a hotel on Penn’s campus near the bookstore.

the Inn at Penn is a Hilton hotel and is right next door to campus. Thats the best option. or the Sheraton. These two hotels are where Penn Model Congress puts the delegates for the annual conference.

The Sheraton is probably the best

Thx a lot. And any suggestions for apartments? Coz my family feels that it will be more comfortable due to a larger space possibility which will be imp considering the luggage. Any advice in terms of apartments will be great!

Thanks

There are apartments further up walnut, by say, 45th and Walnut. The neighborhood is nice, and it’s a 5-10 min walk from campus.

The Inn at Penn is better than an apartment, IMO. They serve breakfast every morning, and it’s literally right on campus. There are several great restaurants in the area (walking distance). The best part is they have a beautiful lounge with big couches and fireplaces where you can get out of the room and hang out.

Our D did a six-week summer program at Penn, so we stayed there a couple times and loved it.

Thanks a lot. After a lot of consideration, I have chosen the hilton inn  thanks again!
