I have never stayed in a triple, but I was just curious, how is it? I am kind of a person who likes to have their space - I mean I don't mind one other person in the room, but having two people crammed into a little area would drive me nuts. Has anybody ever had a triple, and what was it like?

I’m staying in a quad, did you request the triple? just wondering because I tried for the quad since it was so much nicer and larger and I don’t mind sharing.

You’ll get used to it. Just realize that the room becomes a space for sleeping, not for hanging out or studying.

Two of you will hate/ostracize the other, OR two of you will look up to/respect the other. That’s just how humans behave in these types of situations.

For females, you’ll have a false veneer of niceness and social awareness that will make practically any male triplet look like they have aspegers.

I’m staying in a triple my freshman year. Seems really sucky.

Im in an apt with 3 other ppl this fall. 2 people to a room.

I’ll be in a triple as well, and I’m nervous about the whole getting-along-with-one-roommate-but-not-the-other thing, because one seems really friendly and the other…not so much. However, on the bright side, it has a common room with a single and a double room, and I’m getting there first, so I think I’ll probably just take the single room.

I didn’t get the double I wanted this year, and instead got a quad, with two people per room and a shared living room. Luckily for me though, all of my roommates and I went to the same orientation, stayed in our dorm, and got along great. A triple definitely does have more limited space than a quad, so figuring out how to get along in that situation is a must.
