<p>Just keep it in your backpack, and in a pencil case within your backpack. Chances are, people won’t try to rummage through your backpack.</p>
<p>get it engraved with your name, or write your name on it with sharpie, if u wanted to remove the sharpie, use cleaning alcohol.</p>

<p>One time I borrowed it to a friend, and she lost it in like 3 periods. Friend 1 gave it to me later and he said that Friend 2 gave it to him. I asked Friend 2 where she got it and she said her friend found it in the girls bathroom. </p>
<p>Lol, awkward that she found a guys calculator in the girls bathroom… The person who lost it still denies she lost it. Also she gave me an old calculator in compensation</p>

<p>also, its a good idea to write down the serial # somewhere so that if it goes missing, you can tell people to look for that #</p>
<p>One time, a guy at my school stole a girl’s calculator out of her locker and wrote perverted things he wanted to do to her on it and put it back in. </p>

<p>Rules of thumb for TIs</p>
<p>Don’t let other people borrow it unless they’re sitting right next to you and you can take it back ASAP.</p>
<p>Write your name all over it. Sharpie can be erased over due time. I’ve tried it. Use a knife or something to scratch your name on it.</p>
<p>Put some noticeable decoration so it’s easy to tell who’s calculator is who’s. Try to make this permanent, or very hard to get rid of.</p>
<p>Keep it in ONE SPOT. Although people can stalk you and figure out where you hide your calculator, you can always check that spot (ie. specific pocket of backpack) to see if it’s there. If it’s not, you’ve got a problem.</p>
