Has anyone applied or even been accepted yet to this college and/or major? If so, would you mind posting some stats of yours (gpa, SAT/ACT scores, and your Extra Cirriculars)?

I would greatly appreciate it, as I am very curious whether or not I've even got a chance :/

I applied to MCC also and I’m awaiting my HEOP response, so nothing over here, sorry.

thanks for your response, I appreciate it! Do you mind explaining what HEOP is?

I also applied as a MCC major at Steinhardt, but I haven’t heard anything back. My sats were pretty average, (29 ACT, 4s on 2 AP exams, 3.95 GPA weighted, TONS of ec’s, and really good recs), so I honestly have no idea where I stand.

Thanks! Yeah, my stats were not even quite that good. A bit lower gpa, and average SATs. I have a lot of ECs though and a good essay and recs. I’m hoping to get in based on content, not numbers but I’m not too sure how often that happens
Plus I’m a white male that probably cannot pay for it, all things working against me!

Sure, this is HEOP [HEOP Getting In](http://nyu-op.org/heop/getting_in/index.htm)

I also have less than stellar stats, my GPA is about a 3.6 and I have a 25 ACT with a 10 essay and I’m a URM. I was sent an email back in February from NYU stating that I was being considered for the program and that I needed to attend a session and provide them with my taxes, transcripts, FAFSA, etc. I think it went well. They told me that I should expect a response around April 1st. Only about 4 students and myself were contacted for HEOP in my school, and generally each year about 5 get in from my school into the program, so I have my fingers crossed! Good luck!
