<p>yeah, my mail sucks. i just got my acceptance letter from CCNY. today is march 14th. it was dated march 4th.... it shouldn't take 10 days for some papers to travel 45 minutes >:O</p>
<p>One of my acceptance letters came a week before the letter came saying my application was complete...and the second one was printed 2 weeks before the acceptance.</p>
<p>I feel ya, stephennn..sometimes my mailman doesn't even come.</p>
<p>I got mine Thursday. I'm a Studio Art major from central NJ.</p>
<p>I'm really wondering why NYU did this whole invitation thing... I get the whole idea of giving people time to make travel plans and such for the accepted students dates, but if they say that not every accepted student gets such an invitation, then what's the point? Many of my friends are freaking out because they didn't get such invitations. I really don't know what to tell them.</p>

<p>^^I'm from North Carolina, and I haven't heard anything yet. I applied for Music Business (Grad Program) - Regular Decision. I'm assuming I would hear something around the same time as you guys, right? </p>
<p>I should have done early decision, but me being the perfectionist I am....I spent more time on my personal statement....lol.</p>

<p>yeah, no one from my school who applied to steinhardt has heard, while 2 stern kids and one CAS kid have already gotten word. c'mon steinhardt! nyu also didn't receive my transcript till the beginning of march stephennn, so i'm relying on that being the reason i haven't gotten anything yet, haha</p>

<p>same situation with me...my friend heard from cas but i've heard nothing. and again- has anyone been rejected yet? it seems like people are only getting admittance letters!</p>
<p>almost all of my friends that applied to nyu found out already! i hope the last to find out arent being rejected becuz that would suck major!</p>
<p>emilync, i'm from northern virginia. rejection letters haven't been sent out yet...and neither have acceptances for that matter (I think). invitations to the admitted students days are what people are currently getting. if you get an invite, you're in, so that's why no one has been rejected yet.</p>
<p>the one person i know that got in told me he got a formal acceptance letter...not like an invite to the admitted students day or whatever. i just want to know yes or no, why does nyu have to be so complicated? why can't they just post online?! </p>

<p>I just realized that undergrad deadline was Jan 1st (RD)...and graduate was Feb 1st (RD). If you guys haven't heard back yet....I KNOW my wait will probably be even longer. Ugh.</p>
