Steinhardt School of Eduaction

Hey has anyone heard back yet? Not the ED applicants but regular decision? A few of my friends have heard but for business and biology. Anyone? I applied Communcation Studies, B.S. but haven't heard... a little scared for that matter :)

i got a sunday at the square thing for steinhardt..i also applied for communication

My D received the University Day Reception invitation for students admitted to the class of 2011 at NYU Steinhardt School, including us parents, for Sunday, April 15, 2007 at the Kimmel Center.
Her name was only shown on the addressed envelope. Invitation itself is a generic one.
Is this all she is going to receive from NYU? Is this the only confirmation of her acceptance?
She has been also accepted to the College of William and Mary, as well as the University of Richmond, where both colleges sent very impressive and reassuring congratulatory letters of acceptance.

no, they send those invites so that students/parents can book flights to nyu beforehand. acceptance packages should arrive pretty soon...

i got the invitation to the Sunday at the Square day and an invitation to be in the steinhardt scholars program, no acceptance package yet though.

jw...when did you get your invite to the scholars program?

i got that invite on tuesday, march 20.
i read somewhere that the sunday at the square day is for scholars, so if you got that you probably got into the scholars program, not sure if it's true though.

hmm i didn't get an invite to the scholars program..

I got in TODAY!!!

hi im from the philippines, i applied to steindhart but i havent received an invitation, letter OR e-mail. does this mean i've been rejected???

From what I have heard from most of the people, probably yes, vavalooey

vavalooey, one thing I've learned on this board, and this is hippocritical, but don't listen to a single thing anyone tells you here. If you want AN opinion, great, but don't expect any right answers. I live in CT and 3 people got accepted and 3 got rejected yesterday. There is no way anyone can tell you whether you were probably accepted or rejected. I know people who have gotten acceptance letters to some schools like a week after everyone else in their high school did. There is no pattern, just wait on it.
