I took BC Calc last year (97/100, 5/5) and enrolled in Multivariable (Calc 3) and Diff. Equations at my local CC; there were not enough students to run the calc 3 class and so I’m now only taking diff. equations. I’m worried that colleges will see me as shying away from taking calc 3; is it important that I find another way to take calc 3 or is diff. equations (and then linear algebra in the spring) a suitable alternative?
Note: If you know anything about good online versions of calc 3 that are respected by colleges, I have another thread ( http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/sat-act-tests-test-preparation/1808370-post-bc-calc-online-math-courses-that-colleges-respect.html#latest ) on this train of thought asking about online alternatives for calc 3 and I’d really appreciate your response there, too!
