want to major in engineering or business
cornell engin early decision
umich
cooper union
carnegie mellon
ccny baruch honors
suny binghamton

and any suggestions to any good engineering or business schools thanks!

Assuming a 4.0 is a 95 and each .1 decrease in the former is a 1 decrease in the latter, your GPA is 3.64.

What is your class rank?

cornell engin early decision: REJECT
umich: Unlikely/ REJECT
cooper union: REJECT
carnegie mellon: Maybe
ccny baruch honors: In
suny binghamton: In

3.64 gpa, ok - trying to update it. no class rank i believe... or my school does send ranks but if that's the case, students aren't informed. what if i apply early to cooper, will that make a difference?

It helps somewhat. Bring up your SAT 1.

Cooper Union has a very low percent acceptance (10%, Early Decision ~15.7%, but its statistics are lower than those of Cornell, which has a higher chance of acceptance but also higher statistics.

your SATs should be >2250
