Stereotyping by College Major

<p>Someone who wants to specialize in making computer models of the economy.</p>

<p>Latin</p>

<p>A wordsmith
intelligent but dreamy (the degree itself isn’t in a practical field, but Latin isn’t an easy major).
Biology/a hard science major</p>

<p>Someone trying to please his/her parents or anyone else by being in a prestigious major and getting a prestigious career, such as doctor or engineer. Most likely will end up switching majors.</p>

<p>Neuroscience with a minor in Philosophy</p>

<p>Varied interests; most likely pretentious.
English</p>

<p>Most likely a girl who likes to read and write; doesn’t like any other subjects or else she would have chosen one of those instead and did reading as a hobby (where she could’ve had more flexibility in choosing out the books that sound most interesting rather than just reading what’s required).</p>

<p>Someone who wants a job in East Asia or wants to do business with East Asian countries (because China is becoming so economically significant) and feels an understanding of the culture would help. This person probably also thought that other relevant majors (such as business) would be too boring and mainstream.</p>

<p>Someone who’s been inspired by great physicist such as Einstein and Newton.</p>

<p>Computer Engineering</p>

<p>Does not understand the requirements needed to practice Psyc and will never get their PsycD
 “Do you want fries with that” or future substitute teacher.</p>

<p>Early Childhood/ Education major</p>

<p>kindergarden teacher. over time starts to teach older children until she(or he) gets to teaching highschoolers. Is then one of those teachers that has no control over the class, does not know how to react to kids’ wild behavior, and places too much trust and responsibly into kids’ hands. Eventually goes back and teaches elementary or middle school.</p>

<p>particle/theoretical physics and art(of some sort)(maybe not as a major)</p>

<p>Someone who finds beauty and elegance in the nature of the universe and the laws governing it, and takes artistic inspiration from it.</p>

<p>Tough one. A logical, nerdy, quiet person who is above taking philosophy but below taking a practical major.</p>

<p>Grows copious amounts of ganja, can be seen walking down the street carrying a wasted girl and a bag of fertilizer, the average horti-fu(king-culturalist.</p>

<p>On track to have an existential crisis when they realize modern-day Britain is nothing like their dreams. Probably uses words like “thou” and “lest ye” at every opportunity and is bound to end up being the most refined member of the Ren-Faire troupe just because it’s the next closest thing they can do to make money. . . Genetics</p>
