Stereotyping by College Major

<p>The greediest little liar on the planet. (We’re going by stereotypes here, remember?)</p>

<p>Chemical Engineering and Voice Performance.</p>

<p>You wanted to go to school for singing, but your parents wouldn’t let you, so you compromised with a money-making-potential major like Chemical Engineering.</p>

<p>Business and Creative Writing major</p>

<p>bad writer, worse businessman</p>

<p>anthropology and history</p>

<p>Dwells on the past, not interested in helping the world but own interests</p>

<p>Computer Science -Software/Programming Languages track, female</p>

<p>Fat, unattractive, glasses, lacks social skills and hygiene. Acts like her stereotypical male counterparts.</p>

<p>Digital Design</p>

<p>^ Likes to study art but sucks at drawing.</p>

<p>Fashion design and math double major. Just kidding, no such thing.</p>

<p>Linguistics and anthropology double major.</p>

<p>^ cute girl, passionate</p>

<p>Business (UC Berkeley Haas) and History double major</p>

<p>History buff but knows it won’t get him a good job, so is using Business as a back-up.</p>

<p>Neuroscience + Pre-Med</p>

<p>Neuroscience is really the only thing they care about, but because that is at least vaguely related to practicing medicine, they tacked on Pre-Med for fun.</p>

<p>Here’s a good one: International Relations and Communication Disorders.</p>

<p>Psychologically no different than a person that wants to be president. Basically wants to save the world.</p>

<p>Film/psychology double major at the graduate level.</p>

<p>Could make REALLY good advertisements & commercials.</p>

<p>Pre-Vet and Studio Art?</p>

<p>Someone whos really into animal rights and probably a member of PETA. Someone whos a little on the hippy side and could talk for hours about colors.</p>

<p>biology/pre med</p>

<p>Boring, boring, boring. Spends all day trying to decide whether to be a dermatologist or an orthopedist. </p>

<p>History and Creative Writing.</p>

<p>Will be a middle school teacher that continually laments what could have been and suffers from Dan Brown envy…</p>

<p>Computer engineering :)</p>

<p>Was picked on in middle-school and high-school, but will ultimately have the last laugh as he becomes insanely rich.</p>

<p>Development Sociology.</p>

<p>Reallly interested in people and their development. ?</p>

<p>English+Economics</p>

<p>Wants to work for the WSJ or Economist, spends free time making blog posts ranting against either Keynes or Hayek</p>

<p>Management Information Systems</p>

<p>“Works to live” type. Not a “live to work” type.</p>

<p>Astronomy and studio art (abstract art) double major.</p>

<p>Recreates van Gogh’s “Starry Night” but makes sure to accurately place specific constellations in the sky.</p>

<p>Civil Engineering</p>

<p>Enjoys building and operating machines and engines, but longs for a polite workplace where manners take precedent. </p>
