I have a situation here. My GPA is a 3.0, but I received a perfect ACT score. Yeah I know, surprised myself. I also have outstanding ec's. What would be my chances at Stern?

Also, I want to major in Business Administration; but They don't offer that as a bachelor degree, so what should I major in instead?

Sorry to be a downer, but I don’t think that a 3.0 GPA will get you admitted to Stern. Only 1% of the entire NYU population has a GPA lower than 3.0.

They do. The degree is a BSBA (Bachelor of Science in Business Administration). You then choose a major within that degree, such as finance, marketing, management, etc.

^Actually, they offer a Bachelor of Science in Business with a concentration in finance, marketing, or whatever else there is. No Administration in the name for some reason.

The average GPA of Stern students is somewhere around a 2.7. If your high school GPA is only slightly higher than that of a student at Stern, I can’t really say you have a good chance of getting in. This is especially considering Stern kids have Ivy stats and many of them will have the same ACT score as you plus a killer GPA.

I think supersizeme meant to say 3.7. You will definitely have a hard time getting in with that GPA. It can’t hurt to apply though. I would prepare yourself as a transfer applicant if you really want to attend Stern. Focus on your GPA wherever it is that you attend for your freshman year and maintain your level of ECs.
