Stern Admissions.. rejected?

Its difficult to get into Stern - even if one does ED ..
How much more difficult it is?

Any other business colleges like Stern that are a bit easier to be admitted to?

Good thing about ED is that Stern can make exceptions for people who have lower than usual stats because they can accept as many as they want as opposed to RD where they can only fit spots that are available. So if you have something on your app that they are looking for even if you don't have the stats..they might reconsider because I know people who got in ED with 1200's.

woahh
so would it be better to RD or ED to Stern if your stats are low?

I mean SAT wise , its not really a problem for me
but GPA.. is really low =x and GPA is the most important. so.

Def ED...RD has all the ivy caliber applicants and whartonites.

Damn that sucks. I'm still kind of confused though - if you ED then does it mean you will get no financial aid from the school?I mean NYU will probably not give you financial aid unless your stats are uber good but will the chances disappear?

Oh and is in possible to get deferred to GSP if you apply to Stern? I heard it was but I dont know many cases of GSP going to Stern after 2 years..

They changed the policy - before some kids could be deferred to GSP (athletes) but now no one can. Yah I think Financial Aid is steep for ED unless they give you a scholarship. If you have the SAT Scores and GPA you'll be fine RD, but for my case I don't so I had to go with ED and plus its my #1 choice.
