<p>I was wondering what the typical GPA/SAT scores that admitted Stern students have? Also, what type of EC's would look solid on the application?</p>
<p>I'm currently a junior by the way, and it's looking like Stern will be my 1st or 2nd choice for a Business major. Thanks in advance.</p>
<p>Well, I'm aware from the NYU Website that:
Average SAT score: 1412
Average GPA: 3.74</p>
<p>But, I'm a bit skeptical that those are the actual statistics. A 1400 SAT score and 3.75 GPA seem a bit low.</p>
<p>Also,
1) is Frosh GPA calculated by NYU?
2) How many points can you add to Honors classes? 0.5 or none?</p>
<p>1)where did you get those statistics?
2) when you say add a point for honors do you mean that an A- (3.7) becomes a 4.7 if it's honors???</p>

<li> Yes, but if you did bad freshman year, they like to see the upward trend of grades</li>
<li> They don't do one of those crazy points systems, rather claiming to do a "hollistic" view of the app.</li>
