Does stern prefer SATs over ACTs? Also do they superscore either of the two tests?

When applying early decision, do they still give out stern scholars even if you are locked in and dont need any more enticing. Also, its pretty much expected not to get any FA if ED right?

I can't really speak for Stern, but I submitted only my ACT score (no SAT or subject tests, which were actually required this year) and got into CAS with a $12,500 scholarship. I'm sure that one will not be preferred over the other.

I'll accept IamTheWalrus on lack of SAT II's. I took the SAT and 3 SAT II's.

SAT's and ACT's are weighted the same. If you can do well on both, try to do well on both as opposed to a student who gets 32 on ACT yet 1800 on SAT.

I do believe that NYU is looking more to SAT II's. In fact, they claimed that it's required beginning last fall. Of course, there will be a few stellar folks who'll get in without taking the sat II's but you should definately do well on those just to be safe... especially since you're considering Stern.
