i think i wanna do business with an emphasis on marketing. thanx.

"so is there anyway to get into the general school and not stern?"

No. If you want to go to Stern, you have to apply to Stern. Also, there is no "business with an emphasis on marketing" - you can major in marketing, but not general business.

Change your chance of getting in to 95%. I'm very confident that you'll get in. It would be criminal if you don't.

thxn radix. but no1 still answered my question, is it possible to get to be rejected from stern and get into the general school? i'm aware that i have to apply to stern to have a chance at stern lol. and sorry, youkosiren, i didn't finish researching stern but that's how the majors go @ ross.

mich_GIRL88, sorry, I guess I misread your question. Anyway, you would NOT be placed into CAS if you're rejected from Stern. There is a slim possibility that you would be put into GSP, where you could then transfer from to Stern after 2 years - if you want more info, there's a huge thread about it up at the top of the NYU board.

I think you have a really good chance, but I def. wouldn't say 95%. That's insane. But your stats look good

thanks guys, i really really wanna do business at NYU especially since its a great school and i love NYC so much. its probably one of my favorite places in the world. finance is looking like a good option as well since NYC is the finance center of like everywhere and internships shouldn't be too hard to get.
