Stern Chance Me

Hey I was just wondering if you could chance me for the Stern School of Business. I am applying from an international school.

CGPA: 4.0 unweighted
SAT I: 2060 M 710 Writing 690 CR 660
SAT II: M2: 770 PHYSICS: 760 MI: 740
AP: 3 taken...all 4's

I have a lot of EC's and my essays are also pretty unique

Please chance me!

As long as you have some good leadership positions, and good essays, you should be fine.

What?! So 2060 is not too low? Mine is 2080 and someone said they "highly doubt" i would get in :(

A friend of mine had a 2200 and was rejected ED from Stern. Although your SAT is low, ur GPA is favourable. Also, as scorpion mentioned, having strong leadership positions will definitely help.

There are many other factors than just SAT scores...

26.67% chance of admittance with a +/- 3.17 error on a 95% confidence interval. I can run it on a 99% confidence interval if you would like. Does anybody else want me to calculate their odds for them?

mattistotle, are you at stern now?

Yes, I am in Stern.

are those just the admission percentages, or did you actually figure that somehow?

sorry if this is a dumb question...

... he was joking

supposedly, it's much easier to get into Stern if you're international. This is based on some of the international kids I know that seem to have a good idea of the stats of the rest of the international kids.

a slightly low SAT... AVG SAT(M+V) for ED this year was 1480...RD should be slightly higher.. but with solid ECs you will have a high chance of getting in...

How do you know if your essay is unique? It appears everyone is saying that...

goodynotion- where did you see the average sat for this year?

Are you applying for financial aid shouka? because that factors a lot into whether you get admit or not.

pshhhhh so much for need blind :/

but honestly, how many people out there can afford to spend 50 grand a year on college? I would think that at least 80% of all applicants applied for financial aid..
