Stern Chances???!?!?!?!

<p>I'm doing Stern ED next year, so ok here goes nothing....</p>

<p>GPA
-UW: ~3.57
-W: ~3.9</p>

<p>SATI
-high 2000's to mid 2100's (2070-2160)
-got 216/99%ile on PSAT (I don't know if I've been commended)</p>

<p>SATII
-Bio/E: 630
-USH: ~780
-French: ~730
-Math II: ~730</p>

<p>AP
-USH
-French Lang
-Maybe English
-Econ
-Euro
-Enviro
-Calc AB</p>

<p>Intended Major: Finance (will probably apply as undecided because I'm really not sure yet-but I know for sure I want to do business)</p>

<p>Extracurriculars
-2/3 clubs
-Logistical Director for Symposium
-Executive Committee for Symposium
-~120 assorted volunteer hours</p>

<p>Other considerations
-Recommendations: should be great/excellent
-Essays: No reason for turning in a mediocre one...great/excellent
-I'm an Asian male planning to go into a nontechnical field.
-I live in CA if that matters...
-Competitive-ish high school in CA
-Top15 school placement rate: ~15%</p>

<p>funny... i had REALLY similar stats to yours and i was admitted to stern this year...
my gpa(UW) was a 3.585 which I felt was a bit/too low and my SAT was a 800CR/720M/710W= 2230
i also took a lot of hard courses in a pretty competitve high school, was involved in a few clubs, interesting essay, Asian female
so i applied regular decision and was admitted and since our stats are similar i'd say you have a pretty good chance, probably especially if you do ED</p>

<p>I will probably have similar stats and am wondering the same thing. So far I have a 31 ACT which is about a 1380 SAT. PPsgirl06 - your SATs I think are significantly higher than IHateCAs and then what mine will probably be. Do you think the ED makes up for that?</p>

<p>apply ED and get that SAT close to 2200 - you should be good. nice SAT2's and good course load.</p>

<p>So...I got a 1940 on the SAT...quite disappointed I must say....I'm retaking until I get a 2100...</p>
