Stern Chances

<p>Status: Taiwanese holding a Canadian passport living in China
Gender: Male
GPA: Somewhere around 4.0...i dunno, the school system calculates it weird...i have straight A's for both 11th and 12th grade, a few B's in 10th grade, and a few B's in 9th grade.
SAT I: V:560/M:750/W:710
V:620/M:680/W:670
SAT II: Math: 750
Chinese w/ L: 800
AP's: Statistics (4), Calculus, English Language
EC's: Basketball (1 year)
Volleyball (3 years, starting player senior year)
Model United Nations (2 years)
Drama (2 years, leading role)
Service at hospital, poorer people's places, kids with cerebral palsy.
Waitor at a restaurant for a summer.
Tutor.
Created my own band and played at 3 shows. (this went on for about 2 years)
Played the violin for 7 years, supposed to be at level 10.</p>

<p>This is like my dream school...not just for academics though...I have ulterior motives XD Well, chance me experts.</p>

<p>your SAT scores are too low for Stern, and your ECs are not exactly stellar.... With the competitive pool this year, I highly doubt that you'll get into Stern with that stat. Try CAS Econ instead if your dream school is NYU.</p>

<p>Don't worry, apply to CAS and see if you'll get in. If you're in CAS, you can try to get a high GPA and transfer to Stern. Either way, NYU is a great University so you don't have to worry.</p>
