Stern ED chances

<p>hey im still a junior but im starting my college search early. i have visited nyu and a few other colleges and im positive nyu is my first choice. i am going to apply ED next fall and i just wanted to hear your opinions on my chances for admission.</p>

<p>i go to a highly competitive high school in staten island, new york
school does not rank or weigh
my gpa for freshman and sophmore year is a 93 but i started junior year off very well and will bring up gpa to a 94 (unweighed)</p>

<p>ive taken all honors classes (school offers only honors classes) and the following aps junior year:</p>

<p>AP English
AP Russian
AP Biology</p>

<p>next year i will be taking:</p>

<p>AP BC Calc
AP Economics
AP Physics</p>

<p>i have been taking an sat prep class and my current practice sat score is a 1970 out of a 2400 (720 math - 650 writing - 600 verbal) i still have a lot of time to improve and i will be taking a class one more time</p>

<p>i dunt have a lot of ecs...but im very commited to the ones i am in</p>

<p>JSA - since freshman year (attended all state conventions in wash. dc, boston, connecticut)
Internship at Assemblyman Matthew Mirones Office - since sophmore year (over 300 hours) - the assemblyman will be writing me a recc and he is an nyu alumni
Internship at a Financial Advisor's office who works for american express - beginning of junior year
Staten Island Hospital Volunteer (200 hours)
Medical Office Receptionist (150 hours)
and other minor things like key club, newspaper, national honor society, and so on</p>

<p>I took a class at a city college this past summer - Probability and Statistics - and recieved an A</p>

<p>And the next summer i will be taking a class at nyu's precollege</p>

<p>oh and i want to co-major in finance and international business</p>
