Hey I'm a rising senior and I'm applying to NYU Stern. I just want to know what the general curriculum at Stern is like and how it is unique from the general college's curriculum. Also how is job placement after Stern? What do most applicants do?

Lastly, I just want to know what kind of shot I have at admissions based on my stats:
SAT I: 2280 cr/m/w:710/770/800
SAT IIs: mathII/bio/us:760/730/730 (Does NYU accept ap scores in place of SAT II's?)
GPA:94-95
-Relevant ECs: -DECA-Regional President, National Finalist, 3x state winner
-Model UN Officer/Chair
-Varsity Tennis Team Captain
-Federal Reserve Challenge Team
-Business Marketing Honors Society/PTSA Business Incentive Award
(I have a bunch more, but these are the most relevant to business/leadership)
Extra Notes
-I'm a NY Resident and I go to a competitive upstate public HS that doesn't rank, and I'm Indian (Asian).

You look Like you have a good shot. Because of the private school and Asian thing, admissions reps will be expecting higher stats, but I think your still looking good, even for stern.

Oops haha, I just read through it quickly. The fact that your school may be well known for throwing out kids with good stats could hurt you because they will be expecting more from you compared to kids from other schools.

Each school has their own curriculum. Not completely sure of the specifics that CAS students have to complete but there’s a language requirement and more sciences etc, more of a liberal arts program. So Stern has a few gen-ed courses as you can see then core business courses.

A lot of students have internships throughout their years at NYU. I have had a few friends who were able to pick up some starting freshman and sophomore year although if you attend the career fairs on campus most recruiters will brush you aside unless you are a junior. A lot of those who have internships through their upperclassmen years are offered full-time positions their senior year if you perform well.

Not sure what you mean by what do most applicants do.

Thanks for all the responses, especially AODay. In regards to other EC’s/Stats:
-Captain of Mock Trial Team
-Alto Saxophone (6 yrs.) Jazz/Wind Ensemble
-Sitar (Indian Classical Instrument) 6 yrs
-Youth Court Panelist (local court for helping delinquent youth)
-volunteering- 150+ hours working as a camp counselor, youth court, community work etc.
Additional awards: Model UN Outstanding Delegate, National Spanish Exam Silver Medal, Williams College Book Award, Scholar Athlete Award,
In regards to Traveler2be’s post, I get pretty good grades (all A’s/A-s) the most demanding curriculum I pretty much can in my schedule (4-5 APs/yr). I don’t have the best grades in my grade but I’m sure I’m in the top 10%.

-To clarify I was wondering what are the most common jobs that Stern Applicants get after graduation? Or do most go on to business school?

Yeah most Stern students are finance majors so any of the banking divisions, corporate, i banking, S&T, private eq., even real estate are typical jobs. They usually don’t go on to business school since they usually require 3-5 years work experience.
