<p>i got a letter today about the general freshman orientation which said "your school/college will contact you directly with additional information" so i'm guessing the mail should arrive soon.. :]</p>
<p>Besides, Stern orientation is during Welcome Week... there's one in the summer, but there's not really a point in going (no one I knew did, anyway)</p>

<p>No, Stern students just register for classes online whenever it opens up for freshmen (I believe in June). The kids who go to the optional orientation have no advantage in terms of registering, as far as I know.</p>
