Hi, I was admitted to Stern as a fresh. transfer. I'm just wondering how much prestige/name of NYU Stern holds in foreign countries...esp. in East Asia. I'm interested in landing a job in China, Japan, or Korea after graduation....before goin to get MBA. BUT...I heard (from my family friends and whatnot) that the only schools that the companies know in those region are the ivies and UC Berkeley. Is that true? How much weight does the name Stern hold against the other top schools when trying to land a job?? I would really like to know because it could determine whether I do transfer or stay at USC. Thank you for all the info.

Hey, are you freshman at USC and transfer to stern as freshman?
I'm also curious about the name of Stern outside USA?

It's very well regarded.

Yes, I'm a fresh. transfer. I'm just wondering about how Stern stacks up against other top, perhaps better known, programs such as ivies, Stanford, Berkeley, UChicago, etc. in corporate world in East Asia.
