stern scholars...

ok i know information about stern scholars has been asked several times on this conference but i was wondering...around what time last year did people get notification? i believe CAS kids are in the process of finding out about DEAN scholars (as i can see on CC) and i was just wondering when us sternies find out...

I believe you get it with your acceptance package. If you're an international, like I am, then you might get notified as late as early August. I actually got the notification email in the middle of a vacation...

so dean's scholarship is for CAS students ONLY? and stern scholars' scholarship is for Stern students??

kullucka: yes.

What does it take to be a stern scholar? High SAT/GPA? Or Overall package?

For Tisch and Stern Scholars would ED candidates have been informed with their acceptances?

I hate to be a pest, but I'm asking my Tisch Stern Scholar question again. Would ED candidated have been notified with the acceptances? I'm a little frustrated because I feel like I am a "top" candidate and while I understand the reasoning behind tying merit aid and scholarships to need, it would be nice to get some acknowledgement of my accomplishments. So, I think that scholars would be the only possible thing as I don't need any financial aid.

I don't think Scholars are picked until after the RD pool comes in, but don't take my word for it. I don't think Scholars get merit scholarships anymore? At least, not automatically for Stern, though maybe Tisch would have different policies. And even when they gave them out, not everyone got the same amount...

No, I think that you are right that there is no money involved. Thanks for the info.
