I have a small dilemma...I have a 5 on the AP Stats exam, and at my current college that counts as credit. However, I want to try to transfer to Penn CAS or NYU Stern. For Stern, I need to re take stats, but if I stay here or get admitted and go to Penn, it won't count either. Basically, I am trying to optimize my schedule for next semester in which I take courses that both satisfy requirements here (if I stay) or will transfer to wherever if I get in and go. So, to optimize my schedule, I would really have to not take Stats, but will this mean that I won't have a chance at Stern?

Anyone???

Oh and I sorta asked this another way but, just to be sure. For transfers, do they care about how many credits you take to certain point? I took 15 my first semester, for which they will have grades. Will it make a difference if I take 16 vs. 20 my second semester, for which they won’t have the final grades?
