stern, umich, or berkeley? [business undergrad]

Which would you choose between NYU Stern, UMich, and UC Berkeley for business undergrad?

I have to decide between these 3, and i know they’re all great schools (which makes it all the more difficult) they’re all just about ranked next to each other in the various business school rankings

i live in new jersey, but desperately want to go away for school (so nyu feels a little bit too close to home)

nyu stern
pros - technically best undergrad for finance, ideal location for internships, well known/respected on the east coast, already in their honors program - no need to reapply into the business school!
cons - hate the lack of campus, so close to home

umich
pros - sense of community, sports/school spirit, partyingg
cons - reapplying (taking that risk that you might not get in), large student body (well i guess all 3 of the schools have this con), cold weather

berkeley
pros - nicee weather, prestigious (altho i’m not sure if i have it hyped up, i had always figured it was up there with the ivys… until i came to CC and became skeptical of everythingg)
cons - really far away (traveling across the country for college?), reapplying to business program, treated as a number?

What do you guys think of the 3 different schools? If it were you in this position, which school would you choose?

the risk factor involved with mich and berkeley is kind of scary. it’s very competitive applying to the business programs, and i have to make sure my grades would be good enough to apply in the first place (otherwise i’d end up majoring in something i didn’t really want to). at stern, i know i’m already garanteed in the business program.

please, any help or advice would be very much appreciated!

how important is it for you to major in business that is the main question. The chances of getting selected when applying into the business major for your junior year at UCB or UMich is competitive, and you must understand that you aren't guaranteed admissions into it. I think that if you really want to study business go to Stern, because besides the fact you'll already be in the business major and wont need to apply again, you have NYC as your playground, to do whatever you want with it.

DId you apply to USC or Penn, because getting into one of those schools would be a great choice because you wouldn't have to reapply and they both have an actual campus.

Well, Berkeley probably has the best program because it's ranked the #3 business school for undergrad. I heard the competition is tough, but it's only for the first two years.

also i think when it comes to nyu mich and berkeley which are all ranked high up there for business, i dont think it would make a big difference to attend say #6(example) instead of #3. You'll probably end up with the same opportunities. A big difference would be picking #50 over #3, which would be dumb and the better choice would to go for #3.

i got into usc/rejected for penn
i wasn't too sure about usc though, it's not really that well known on the eastcoast
i'm sort of leaning towards cal, just because it'd be soo nice to go to cali for college =)

haas isn't a guarantee though, don't they have a 50% acceptance rate into haas?

yeah. neither is umich... its a risk, going to either school - thus, the dilemma!
should i go to stern because its already set (even i might hatee the actual experience of college life / ok a bit of an exaggeration) or go to where i might enjoy it more.. yet hold on to that risk of not getting into the major i want. i'm visiting berkeley soon, so i'll see how i like it.
does undergrad really matter thatt much?

undergrad does matter to help you get a good job, and then with the good job, that'll help you for your mba, and if your job is really cool, they will even help pay for business school

Berkeley IS up there with some Ivies, in many people's eyes. It's world renowned. And you can't go wrong with California.
