Stern University Day Reception

<p>I am a Stern applicant...i suppose this means I'm in....why would they invite me there a week after sending a rejection!!!!!! NO WAY!!! I'm IN!!!! WOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! I'm in!!!!!!</p>

does this letter mean we're pretty much in?</p>

<p>Why would we be invited to meet with faculty/students a week after decision day if we were not accepted? This event is by invitation only...WE ARE IN!!!!!</p>

<p>from the stern admissions counselors (upon asking about university day reception: "we do not deliver decision notifications until april 1st"...</p>

<p>BUT "you MAY INFER THAT YOU WILL BE RECEIVING POSITIVE NEWS"</p>

<p>ergo.....invites are in!!!!!</p>

<p>invitation card in a mailed envelope.....the reception is by invite only...</p>

<p>is this invite only for the top students and if i didnt get one does that mean that im pretty much either rejected/waitlisted from stern?</p>

<p>university day isnt for top students, sunday/saturday at the square is (or the weekend one, or stern scholars).</p>

<p>this one, i believe, is for everyone who gets in. i could be wrong. but. i know its not the top students.</p>

<p>but theres still time to get an invite if they just started being received today. just wait! =)</p>

<p>were Stern scholar / Sat @ square things sent out yet..? I suppose i underestimated competition...but i'm still in and that's fine for me....I've been underestimated myself before...</p>
