I want to be an investment banker and I can’t decide which school is the gives me the best fit and opportunities. I want to go to a school that has school spirit and a traditional campus were I can make a lot of friends/networking. I know that NYU doesn’t have that but it’s one of the best biz schools and I can play basketball there which makes up for it. The only problem with NYU is that is doesn’t have a campus and makes it harder to make friends at the school. If I go to IU it seems fun but there might be too much partying and some of the kids are not as focused as Kelley students. Also I want to work at a top firm so it might be harder. USC seems amazing but I don’t want to work in the west coast. I want to work in NYC but most internships and jobs are on the west. Also I’m very motivated and plan to do my very best at either of theses school so which one will give me the best fit and opportunity for IB banks?
For what you want, Stern would be best. I find the NYU “campus” to be weird, but I don’t know why it would be an impediment to making friends.
Marshall isn’t known for investment banking, and I’d question the assertion that most internships and jobs are on the west coast. West coast business schools tend to be focused on things like tech startups rather than investment banking.
My sister, who’s definitely not a big party person. went to Indiana (though not Kelley) and loved it.
For career outlook, definitely NYU. But IU will give you the traditional college experience and still provide great opportunities.
Have you been admitted to all 3?
Kelley has an IB Workshop that is suppsoe to be very good, and has high job placement rates.

Although NYU is overall a more prestigious school then IU, Kelley and Stern are not too far off. Kelley allows you to surrown your self around a bunch of motivated and hard working students. I understand rankings aren’t everything but Bloomsberg best business schools has Kelley at 4 and stern at 9. NYC is also in Kelley’s top 3 cities for job placement.

You can’t go wrong with any of the three. I don’t know what your financial situation but I’m assuming IU is going to be much cheaper compared to the other two. If that’s the case then I think Kelley would be the best bang for your buck. With Big 10 sports, tons of school spirit, and an amazing campus my vote goes to the Hoosiers.
This is a very good program, but it represents only 75 to 80 or so students per year out of a college with an enrollment of more than 6,000.

Kelly is a good school, but you should not make the decision to there on the small chance of being selected to this program.
I’m only waiting on USC
