STERN vs ROSS

accepted into Stern and Ross. What is the verdict. Which is the better business school?

hey i was in a similar situation this year as well. i ended up choosing ross over stern because i wanted to go into marketing (which umich is stronger at), and i'm not much of a city person.

here's a link to the thread that everyone responded to.. hopefully this will help

hey...I was in the same situation (I'm a freshman now).
I ended up choosing Stern, because of the city.
I've never been to the East Coast, and I thought it would be really interesting to go to New York (I know, not the best reason).
But you know, I still wonder whether UMich would have been a better choice...I gotta tell you though, if I went to UMich, I would no longer be a business major, because it doesn't have a business school--you are in the liberal arts college for first two years, then you go into business.

same situation, stern.

they are both great choices, choose base on fit.

my intended major was finance and management. hard choice for me because umich's management is really good. but i thought that stern would be a better fit for me because i liked the hyperstimulation of the city, it was much more convenient and closer to home for me.

both schools are great, you can't go wrong with either of them. come to Stern for finance and international business. go to ross for management and marketing. recruitment is even, but Stern does hold the edge in i-banking. good luck

i thought you cant apply for Ross until the end of your freshman year?
