Aight guys, I posted for chances before but for this one I took off some of the medical related ECs and also added the AIME thing (I never knew that being an AIME qualifier was an achievement worthy enough to put on the app. I always that that there were already a ***** load of people that have that it would make much of a difference. But I guess it matters a lot for NYU!!!)

I am currently a junior at one of the best schools in the nation (top 40 according to US NEWS and like top 50 according to Newsweek). Trust me its nothing to brag about, we're all getting our rear ends kicked hard (well at least me). But I just wanted to mention this so that you guys would get an idea for why my GPA is so low.

GPA: 3.4 UW (yea heckka low) (Probably in the top 25% UW and top 10% W but school only sends in UW GPA)

NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS FOUNDED
Founder of a non-profit organization where we would first learn about stocks from finance professors and instructors from local colleges and then invest in a stock market simulation game for 3-4 months. Then we would pick out the top 5 investors raise funds for 1-2 months so that we could use that money to invest in stocks. Then after about 5-7 months we would pull out as much as we could and donate about 90% to a local charity/non-profit. Last year we were able to donate nearly $2700.

Re-emerged this non-profit organization which deals with marketing/advertising /accounting. In a really short time my friends and I made got it to be well known by many companies in Northern California. This deals with mainly small businesses. We take a company into our non-profit for a period of time, and during this time we advertise the companies products and while using marketing techniques to make the price and product more appealing. During this time we take care of the companies accounts and after our contracted time is over and we make a profit for that company, then that company donates money to us. This money is either given to charity or is used to support other high-school student run businesses.
