Stetson vs University of Florida

Hi,

I've been having a terribly hard time deciding betweeen these two schools. Both located in Florida, they are near exact opposites in size. UF has a huge freshman class, while Stetson has a small class around 700. I really like both schools, and I have probably the same amount to pay for each. Which do you think would the better choice be for the schools?

I plan to major in international studies, but that might change, however I plan to stay in the history/political science/english area for a major. Thanks. I only have a couple days to decide this very hard decision.

I say University of Florida - I've visited both on several occasions and there is literally NOTHING to do in Deland. I was bored out of my mind when I was there. Gainesville is a huge college town, you've got all of your sports and your school spirit activities and it's a really fun place. I would be going there if I hadn't gotten into NYU. I know UF has a great journalism program, one of the best in the country - I don't know about the other areas though. Anyway, I think you should definitely definitely consider UF, it's gotten to be a rather selective school now so you get both the academics and the fun college experience there.
