Steven’s vs NJIT Albert Dorman’s Honors College

I am having a hard time deciding between these two schools, with Corona virus I can’t tour the school again, and virtual stuff has been pretty superficial. I would appreciate any insight others might have had on these choices. Stevens Hoboken looks amazing and honors seems like better funded facility at NJIT honors .Thank you

What are the net costs of each, and can your parents afford the tuition at both? What major?

You are correct I forgot to mention that. Stevens is net 15k more I got good offers from both schools.I only have room and board to pay at njit honors.

I believe Stevens is worth the extra cost especially if you are studying engineering. Their graduates starting salaries and placements are very impressive. And the school being located in Hoboken is a major plus.

My major is computer science

Are your parent able to pay the extra 15K or do you need to take out loans? 60K in loans is a lot of money.

Yeah I’m starting to think I should go with NJIT honors students are allowed to pick classes a day ahead of the rest of students.60k would be a lot of debt.

would you be a pinnacle scholar at SIT?

The offer is Edwin A. Stevens Scholarship , and a Stevens grant, not sure what pinnacle scholarship is really.Still going back and forth between the two offers.

I am curious what did you pick in the end? I am in the same boat now.
