I am applying as a transfer to these schools. I am not sure what is the best choice between them. I am intending on being a Computer Science Undergrad. I know Stevens has a great program and is actually the closest to me. I visited Rutgers and didnt really get a great vibe and I actually know nothing about their program. I also visited NYU. Being an older student, I felt like the crowd was a bit young and artsy. But, also I know nothing about the program.

Any thoughts about any comparison between these schools.

Iol i know I’m 6 years late here but just for anyone else who might find this thread interesting in the future…
Stevens Tech has a great Comp Sci program with a few different concentrations like cyber security or just straight comp sci etc. it’s supposedly very competitive to get into but I think it’s just because there are limited seats in the class, not because it’s necessarily any stronger than a comparable school’s program.
Rutgers has a very reputable engineering program and as far as I’m aware their comp sci program follows suit. however, I’ve been told that it’s hard to distinguish yourself as a better comp sci student / job candidate at rutgers because of the sheer number of comp sci students who all have the same exact skills as you, so you’ll need to be ambitious and make some cool programs on your own to show at a job fair / interview so you stand out.
NYU I haven’t researched a ton but it’s notably one of the most expensive school’s in the country and not notably a contender for best comp sci school in the country so you could go to Steven’s tech for significantly less cost and still be 0.00000000000005 seconds from NYC.
