Stevens vs Rutgers for Engineering

Hey everyone. I know there probably already are a few threads on this site comparing Rutgers and Stevens, but I'm looking to compare them based only on academics and research. I don't care much about student life, tuition, etc..

I'm going to be studying Biomedical Engineering this fall. Unfortunately, I was rejected from the Ivies, so these two are my best options. Which one do you think has better research and academics? I hope to either transfer or get my masters from a high ranking school (Stanford, MIT, maybe an Ivy), so which of these do you think will help me most in that pursuit? And which do you think has a better Honors Program? Thanks in advance.

Rutgers is huge, Stevens is small. They both have good research opportunities and career advising. Rutgers classes are pretty huge until you get to be a senior, Stevens classes are not as large. Both have a mix of really good and ok professors (I have sons at each).

I think the honors program is what you make it. You are given opportunities but you have to go after them. Which is giving you more money?
