Stigma of Taking Subject Test Multiple Times

My understanding with the SAT is that there is little negative stigma in taking it more than once. With the SAT II (e.g. Math Level 2) is there a negative stigma in taking the test more than once, even as much as 3 times?

With the SAT there are so many materials out there, that it's easier to gauge where I'm at before the test. However, with the SAT II, there are just so few reliable practice tests, that I'm not sure I'll have any reliable way of knowing other than just to do an actual sitting of the test.

I know a very small handful of colleges don't do score choice for the SAT II, but I though that most do.

I took bio twice (got a 760 first time) because I felt like taking two subject tests on two dates, and I didn’t have another one to do on my second one. Ended up raising it to a 780. I don’t think it’s looked at too badly, plus, most colleges, even the ones that require all SAT scores, allow score choice for subjects.
