Still a chance for good college?

Hello, today marked the closing of my freshman year in high school and i ended with a 3.67 unweighted GPA. I took all honors classes and did 8 hours of community service. My question is that do I still stand a chance at going to a college such as MIT or Harvard. Yes I know that these are not the only schools in the world and there are other schools that I could go to but my uncle went to Yale/Harvard and his son went to MIT, so I want to follow there steps. I want to major in computer sciences as I love computers and have been building computers since I was eight. I feel so disappointed in myself with my GPA feeling like I have already ruined all chances of me going to one of those colleges. Currently I am in a regular public school but will try to get into a Math and Science Academy that is near me. I also played JV Baseball but I don't think that will help :) Any feedback of what I should do and what I have done so far would be great!

Thank You.

Focus on high school and stop worrying about college your a freshman

^I concur. Yes, be mindful of the rigor of courses you take over the next few years, but don’t stress out now; worry about high school for now and keep this on the back burner until mid-late junior year. Freshman year doesn’t hold much weight in college admissions, at least not as much as sophomore and junior years. Just keep up your GPA and have fun!
