this may come as a shocker, but business week's undergraduate business school ranking and USnews ranking agrees with the title: Wake Forest's Calloway School of Business is #14 (NYU #15 and BC somewhere close), and number 28 in US news (higher than both BC and NYU) I know that most of you are gonna say that i shouldn't be caught up in rankings, and you're right: Wake's teaching quality is far more superb than NYU and BC (don't know that much about the latter though :P) most of the class in Stern b-school are taught by TA, professors aren't nearly as accessible as the ones in Wake, and the workload from Wake creates a well-rounded students even though they have a business major (such a feat is said to be rare among business schools), which would mean that it is definitely a plus when you apply to MBA programs, as they consecutively admits more students that majored in areas other than business :) (future Whartonites anyone?) this is just so surreal!

I'm proud that I can now call myself a Demon Deacon!

Congrats on Wake. However to clarify, US News ranking on undergraduate business NYU is actually #5 not #15. The top ten for undergraduate business were as follows:

i said NYU is #15 at business week. when i talked about NYU from US news, i was talking about the university as a whole. thank you for adding the information, but i think people should trust business week more (in terms of undergraduate b-schools) than their US News counterpart :)

whoa, whoa, whoa…from pinkcupcake14’s link, it says that NYU is number 15…but from Kelly37’s link NYU is number 12…so which one is correct? both of em’ are from business week

Business Week is obviously inconsistent in their rankings. In the end, all three are top 20 schools (for undergraduate business) and are with one or two ranks from each other. To say one is better than the other is probably not true as even Business Week cannot decide how to consistently rank each school.

Mine is from 2008/2009, sorry! I couldn’t find the 2010 rankings for some reason. Kelly’s are probably the rankings from this year.

To tell you the truth, I agree with NCDanceMom – the rankings fluctuate tremendously from year to year. All of those business schools are great; you will receive a very similar quality of education from all of them.

I was just kidding, BrownPennLover! I don’t know of a way to change your CC name, I guess if that were possible, it would occur often on this forum! Good luck at Wake, I am happy, but also sad that my son is graduating. Enjoy your time there!

BrownPenn – throwing TP in the trees is called “rolling the Quad.” Great fun, according to D. Her freshman year, when Wake won the ACC in football, the Quad was unbelievable. I think Winston-Salem was totally out of TP for days!
