Still do orchestra?

This is my schedule

Expository Writing
Bio 13
Spanish IV
Intro to Community Health
and a 3 hour seminar on movies each week

Bio is definitely going to take the most time (3 lectures and 3 hour lab each week). Orchestra meets twice a week, for two hours at a time... Do you think I can manage all my courses and comfortably do orchestra at the same time?

If scheduling works out, I don’t see why a single 4-hour/week activity would be problematic. Of course, the 10 hours you might have to spend practicing in addition to rehearsals might do the trick. (I have no idea how professional your college’s orchestra is or how good of a player you are, so please ignore my last comment.)

You are the only one who knows your lifestyle, study habits and time management skills, so you are the most qualified person to answer your question. It shouldn’t be a problem for the average student at the average college, but that doesn’t mean that you might not have a hard time with it.

if you enjoy playing, you should definitely join the orchestra. That is an activity that is not only fun, but you can make really good friends in it b/c you will be around the same people a lot, and lots of them for multiple years.
