What should be my next move after waiting for two months (of technical problems) to help my application reach completion? It still reads that my transcript and school report are missing. Here is a timeline to put my situation in context.

Timeline:

November 7 (transcripts and school report sent by mail)

November 14 (Letter of Recommendations sent by mail, SCEA application done)

December 6 (found out they never received the mail, sent transcript and school report by fax, confirmed received)

December 18 (emailed regional counselor; saw that application will still be considered for SCEA)

December 21 (emailed my regional counselor; she said there was a mix-up of my name. Corrected it. Status unknown)

Today (resent letter of recommendation (due to technical problems of getting to school))

Keep working directly with your regional counselor. Usually the fastest way to get an answer and to avoid further mix-ups.

I called my Reg. Counselor about the letter of rec. yesterday. When would be a good time to contact my Reg. Counselor in order to avoid pestering her?

Depends. What did she say?

She said that she has received my letter of recommendation.

Then I would follow up now with an e-mail confirming the conversation, further stating that it is your understanding they now have all your required documentation/information, and that you look forward to their decision shortly per your status as an SCEA applicant.

After deliberation with my regional counselor (RC), she finally marked my application as complete, including my recommendation. The delay was due to admissions “going completely paperless” and they had two duplicates of me. Is there anything else I can do to show interest besides a college visit (on February 16-18), though I have not mention visiting?

EDIT: Any good questions to ask my RC about my application, especially as it is an unusual case of missing application?
