Hey, so I applied to UMass Amherst regular decision, and I still have not received an application acknowledgement where I can check the status of my application and etc.

I never realized this until now because a lot of my friends have been getting acceptances, and I wanted to check on my status but I realized they never even sent me a way I could check online.

Did anyone else not receive a log in to check their application online? Or am I the only one...? What should I do now? Obviously it's too late to send anything in if I am missing something (which I most likely am not), but do you think this will affect my decision to UMass Amherst at all?

I would send an email to the admissions office asking them about 1) the status of your application
2) the online status check
3) double check to make sure you’re not missing anything

I thought I was all set for one of my colleges but they ended up missing some things that affected my decision. Better be safe than sorry. Good luck :)

We never received any acknowlegement either. I called a week or so ago though and they said they had the application and it was “under review”. I’m wondering what’s taking so long as my D applied in December? Many of her classmates were accepted 2 weeks ago.

does anyone know how long it would take for a transfer student to receive an application acknowledgement letter? I am very eager to find out what’s going on.

I applied November 15th (regular decision), and it is now March 28th and I still have not heard anything. Friends of mine from school who applied last minute have received word and have been accepted and it’s frustrating knowing that their application was processed after mine and they’ve got in. Makes me wonder if now that their application was reviewed before mine if that lessened my chances of getting in…

I applied as a transfer student and sent in everything about 2 weeks ago and today I got notice that they have everything and my application is now under review. I would call them if I were you and see what is going on.
