Still haven't heard = Rejection?

I am one of those unfortunate people who still haven't heard. Does this mean a rejection for sure? :(

I would just wait to ring up and ask on the 11th mate. Can't tell for sure.

well someone got accepted yesterday so you never know. Just don't get your hopes up to high...

i STILL haven't heard...only 3 more days until friday!

its gonna suck to have to get a decision over the phone...unless its a good one.

ArchHopeful- nice accent.

....whaaa? Did someone send you a recording secretly? shifty eyes

no.
i haven't heard yet, but i think i'm accepted. my status was "in review" since 3/13 until 4/7 it changed to "acted upon" but today i checked my email and there was a mention of a USC ROTC Scholarship Opportunity and it said "Congratulations on your acceptance to the one of the most prestigious schools in the nation. I can only imagine what an exciting time this is for you!"
so.. i'm assuming i'm in.

a premature congratulations is at hand moey. If you're in...was it worth the wait?

haha, i don't know if it was worth it. i'm pretty annoyed. i do adore the school, but the cost is like double of UCs. it mainly depends if i'm accepted under Business or Music Industry though.

i havent recieved anything yet but called and they said it was mailed on 4/1.. what does this mean? ugh i know i'm rejected but i just want to knwo for sure. (p.s. i'm on the east coast)

rejected :/ I'm sad...but strangely it feels as if I was just released from prison...

moey, that ROTC scholarship is nothing to sneeze at. My S has one for Chapman. It pays full tuition, fees, a book allowance, + a monthly stipend that adds up to more than $15,000 over 4 years. Additionally, USC knocks off $2,000 per year from room & board for ROTC cadets.

In exchange, you have an ROTC class each semester, go to training for a month or so one summer, and serve on active duty as an officer for 4 years + another 4 years in the active or inactive reserve.

It's a pretty sweet deal.

Zacriemaster, good for you on being released from prison! Now you can have a for real life! It's going to be so great to be able to say where you are going like all your friends are doing. Hope you know where that is soon!

Well a friend of mine told me last week that USC sent them a rejection email...This confuses me because I'm in this lucky pool who has to wait to more days and I haven't gotten an email but I haven't gotten an acceptance package either. This has been killing me all week...

same with me ^ also i'm an international.. so it might take some extra time..? i've emailed them but no response

I got rejected. Sorry guys. It's not looking good. Gd luck though.
