Still haven't heard!

I applied to Dodge early action and my web advisor still hasn't changed! Anyone else in the same situation??

Hey,

I am not an expert but I suggest you give the College a call and see what’s happening with your application. From what I have read around the forums, they are normally busy at this time of the year.

Best wishes.

You are definitely not the first person to face the same.Try being consistently aggressive(call the college several times etc.) and keep your fingers crossed.Things are bound to look up.Another thing, try being extraordinary without overdoing it and refuse to have your hopes dampened at any time whatsoever.Enjoy your time at Dodge!

Ditto - still File Completed/Pending Decision - The Dodge Blog indicates that decisions are on a rolling basis for film production Mid february to mid March. I guess we are at the half way mark.
Hope that no news is good news for us…but it is driving me crazy - need to do a film on the nighmare wait of college responses or something.

Good luck!

Same here guys . . . still waiting. The Dodge blog says Film Production decisions will be made through “early March,” so hopefully the wait will be over soon.

Okay thanks everyone! I’m glad I’m not alone. Good luck to everyone :)

Still . . . waiting . . . . . . . need . . . air . . . jk, but I hope I’m not the only one still waiting. Misery (of waiting) loves company!

Still waiting too…I’m just concerned because I applied EA and I can’t believe they just don’t know yet. I’m getting so anxious!

yup, still waiting. uggh.

same boat as you alexandra8274!

My friend just heard. He got it in to film production with a scholarship (partial). He got his letter on Monday March 14. He had applied early action. FYI to all who are still waiting…some hope.

Congratulations to your friend who got accepted to film production! That’s awesome news! :)

Congrats!
Unfortunately, my web advisor STILL hasn’t changed. Hopefully soon though!

My D called Admissions yesterday to speak to her Admission Counselor and was told he was “reading” all day. Turns out that means he was spending the day reviewing applications. So don’t fret - must still be a lot of applications not decided on yet.

What is wrong with their admissions process? Seems REALLY slow. I feel really bad for the EA applicants that haven’t heard yet… I wonder how they’re going to make the April 1 deadlien

Can’t say I disagree with you at this point, Jasonvdm. ChapmanAdmit, could you please let us know when EA will hear back from Chapman? I guess April 1st is the latest, but really?

I actually feel really bad for the EA people. I’d withdraw my application if it’d speed things up, but i doubt it…I mean, they’re accepting 60% of applicants! They should be able to do this on a case by case basis.

Film production peeps . . . anyone else still have “File Complete, Decision Pending”? Anyone have any suggestions on what to do at this point?

My status hasn’t changed either (I’m applying for TV). I know they say they have more applicants than usual and they will reply to 99% of the applicants by the first week of April…but…I’m getting so anxious. Keep checking Wedadvisor compulsively throughout the day.
