Has anyone else not heard from Vanderbilt?

Someone from my school got accepted on Wednesday. Even if I didn't get accepted, I would still think I would have gotten the rejection/waitlist letter by now?

BTW I live in CT.

Call the admissions office.

so i haven't been home since the 28th, is my letter most likely waiting for me at home?? scary...

Rejected today :(

That took a very long time to come though.

I'm not that upset, I probably wasn't going to go anyway because it's so far away. I'm just confused because everyone I talked to said I should get in because I'm Jewish and Vanderbilt is looking for Jewish applicants. I also got waitlisted at BC yesterday so I find it funny that the two schools where I had a hook at didn't accept me.

I believe the article in the WSJ about Vanderbilt trying to interest more Jewish applicants was during my S's senior year in HS - 2001-02. Perhaps I'm wrong, but I'm guessing that they have been somewhat successful and that is no longer a significant factor.
